The play text is a blueprint for performance, the beginning of a creative process,
rather than the end. This section will look at who is working on
performances of which plays - where - and why? From rehearsed readings
to workshops or full productions, this section will offer information,
reviews and interviews. If you are involved with a production,
or know of production work currently taking place - we would like
to hear about it. Interviews with scholars, directors and performers
in educational institutions and outside in the professional world
of performance, will offer insights into theoretical and practical
approaches to all aspects of performance work on late eighteenth
and early nineteenth century plays by women currently taking place
in Britain.
